Salted Caramel Sauce
 
Makes about 1¼ cups
Ingredients
  • ½ cup (110 grams) firmly packed light brown sugar
  • ½ cup (120 grams) heavy whipping cream
  • ¼ cup (57 grams) unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 tablespoons (63 grams) dark corn syrup
  • ¾ teaspoon (2.25 grams) kosher salt
Instructions
  1. In a medium saucepan, stir together all ingredients. Bring to a boil over medium- high heat; reduce heat to medium-low, and simmer, stirring frequently, for 3 minutes. Transfer mixture to a small heatproof bowl. Let cool for at least 10 minutes before using.
