Honey Filling
- ¾ cup (255 grams) honey
- ¾ cup (180 grams) heavy whipping cream
- ½ cup (100 grams) granulated sugar
- ½ cup (113 grams) unsalted butter, melted
- 3 large eggs (150 grams)
- 1 tablespoon (9 grams) finely ground yellow cornmeal
- 1 tablespoon (15 grams) apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon (4 grams) vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon (1.5 grams) kosher salt
- In a large bowl, whisk together honey, cream, sugar, melted butter, eggs, cornmeal, vinegar, vanilla, and salt until combined. Use immediately.
