Basic Buttercream filling
 
Makes about 2 cups
Ingredients
  • ½ cup (113 grams) unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 cups (360 grams) confectioners’ sugar
  • 1 teaspoon (3 grams) kosher salt
Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, beat butter with a mixer at medium speed until creamy, 2 to 3 minutes. Gradually add confectioners’ sugar and salt, beating until smooth.
