Peppermint Buttercream
 
Makes 2 cups
Ingredients
  • ¼ cup (57 grams) unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 ounces (55 grams) cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups (240 grams) confectioners’ sugar, sifted
  • ¼ cup (35 grams) peppermint candies, finely crushed
  • 1 tablespoon (15 grams) whole milk
  • ½ teaspoon (2 grams) peppermint extract
Instructions
  1. In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, beat butter, cream cheese, and confectioners’ sugar at low speed until smooth and creamy, about 2 minutes. Add crushed peppermint candies, milk, and peppermint extract, and beat for 1 minute. Use immediately
