After a few years working in the financial industry, she gave in to her destiny and enrolled at San Francisco Cooking School. Studying under the tutelage of baking masters like Nicole Plue—“Chef Nicole knows everything about everything,” Michele says with a laugh—she decided there was only one to pay it forward and share her knowledge. Her blog, Studio Baked, is a deep dive into her signature brand of butter-rich curiosity, with a look at revamped takes on everything from American classics to Asian bakery favorites.
